Antler Hill Village, a new attraction on the Estate, opened in 2010 next to the Biltmore Winery. It combines opportunities for a quick snack, shopping, fine dining and live entertainment. You and your family can learn more about the history and legacy of Biltmore through exhibits and a first-hand farm experience.
The buildings surround a village green, where you can sit or stroll. Your family will enjoy the village atmosphere, and your dogs are welcome on a leash.
The Barn in Antler Hill Village was once the social and work center for the families employed by the Vanderbilts. It has come alive again with blacksmiths, woodworkers and other craft demonstrations. Authentic farm equipment provides a history of the working Estate.
Kids will enjoy turn-of-the-century games and farm-friendly animals at the Farmyard. You’ll find a playground featuring a ferry that brings children across a small lagoon, just like the Vanderbilt family used to cross the French Broad River. Climbing logs, a rock climbing formation, sandy play area and other activities connect the estate’s past with your children’s imagination. The Farm in Antler Hill Village is included in your estate admission.
