Scenery at Asheville Cabins During Winter Months
The Woodland Garden has plentiful hardwood and evergreen trees and shrubs, creating a scenic winter garden for relaxation and reflection. On short walks around the resort, guests can take in the formal garden and lighted fountains as well as a waterfall feature. Even in winter, nature’s blooms are sure to appear. Look for the beds of colorful pansies and ground cover common to the North Carolina Mountains.
Asheville is a Year Round Town
For entertainment and dining, Asheville is becoming an all year destination, with activities planned throughout every season, not just summer and leaf season. Restaurants may have slightly reduced winter hours, but for the most part they remain open all winter long. The Fringe Arts Festival (January 24-27), Asheville Small Plate Crawl (February 26-28), and the Grove Park Arts and Crafts Conference (February22-24) are just some of the fun cultural and dining experiences that await the winter visitor with a sense of adventure.
Relax in the hot tubs and enjoy the smell of wood burning while you warm yourself and your loved ones by the fireplace. Listen to the wind blowing in the trees on the mountain and cuddle up with a good book or a complimentary movie — available at the office.
No matter what your pleasure, you and your loved ones are sure to have a wonderful stay at Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds this winter. Book a cabin well in advance to ensure that you have the reservation dates you prefer.
