Winter in Asheville is a special time of the year filled with exciting and fun choices for all family members. Families can enjoy the Dickens Christmas in Biltmore village, the Gingerbread houses at the Grove Park Inn and the most popular, Christmas at “America’s largest home”, the Biltmore Estate where a 35-foot Christmas tree and miles of festive décor fill you with holiday cheer. This year’s Christmas at Biltmore is from November 3, 2012 through January 1, 2013.

The House is decorated in an art-themed décor from the Vanderbilt’s own art collection. Each room has its own decorated tree and display piece that accents a certain piece of art from the room. The Breakfast room for example will have the Renoir painting, “Child with an Orange” which is highlighted by a shimmering orange ribbon that mixes with a colorful green satin to really bring light to the painting.

Antler Hill Village Holiday Season Activities

Complimentary guided tours of the Winery, Carriage rides on Saturdays, nightly music at Cedric’s Tavern,  Segway tours and bike rentals will continue through the holiday season.

Don’t miss Santa while you are at the Estate. Santa will be visiting Antler Hill Village every Saturday and Sunday through December 23rd.
