Take a Food and Art Tour this Fall

Draft beer

The Craft City Food & Art Tours highlight the craft skills of several locals in Asheville. The combo is a true pair, with food and art going hand in hand in a beautiful–and delicious–way. While all available dates are “booked”, there is a wait list, and more dates to become available. Here’s the details on taking a Food and Art Tour this fall!

There will be four tours this fall, all taking place through the Center for Craft. While their gallery is currently closed (slated to re-open in November of 2019), you don’t need the gallery to enjoy what this organization has to offer. This is what the Center for Craft’s website has to say about this tour:

“Throughout this two-mile walking tour, Craft City guides will offer ways to understand Asheville’s urban landscape and restaurant scene through the craft philosophy—thoughtful making with a reverence for process and material.”

These walking tours are for those who love hand-crafted, and small batch items. You’ll visit art galleries, watch demos, taste and sip your way through artisan restaurants, and meet the people whose talents make all of this possible.

The three Saturday dates so far are September 21, October 5, and October 19th. As of September 20th, all tours are booked. However, there is a wait list so get on that list to enjoy this tour!

Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds offers one, two and three bedroom cabins located within the city limits. Experience downtown’s exciting restaurant and art scene, then return to a luxury mountain home complete with hot tub and seasonal wood-burning fireplaces (opening Mid-October!).
