If you’re into frights and scares, or just want a fun, family-friendly place to wear a costume, Asheville has lots to enjoy this weekend.

Brevard (in Transylvania County, appropriately enough) has a great Halloween Festival this Saturday. Expect a ton of family-friendly spooktacular activities, including a parade and costume contest.
A beautiful drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is for those of you who want the most relaxing Halloween possible with a scenic drive through the beautiful foliage.
Haunted LaZoom Tour: It’s been said that there is a connection between being scared and laughing…this 17+ haunted comedy tour is fun for the adults in your group. Learn about Asheville’s dark history, while live performers tickle your funny bone. Riders 21 and older can drink beer/wine on the bus.
Eliada Corn Maze: This corn maze is not only a lot of fun, but it’s for a good cause as well. They have a new scavenger hunt for 2019, and have brought back the favorites such as the giant jumping pillow and the corn cannons.
