It’s a busy time of year! Asheville is humming with activity and restaurants and shops are filled with visitors from all over the world (and all over Asheville). Don’t find yourself without a fantastic dinner planned during your stay…even if you don’t cook there are options to help you savor the season during your stay at Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds.
Visit our nearby grocery stores
If you aren’t opposed to cooking your holiday meal, than you have all the tools at hand to make a great dinner with as little fuss as possible. Within 3 miles of our cabins, there is an Ingles, Fresh Market, Publix, Earth Fare and Walmart. While Publix will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas day, Fresh Market usually offers holiday meal packages to pick up and is open 7am to 4 pm (Thanksgiving only). All have a great selection of holiday mains and sides. Ingles is open regular hours on Thanksgiving day.
Eat at one of Asheville’s great restaurants

There are several fantastic restaurant options that are open during the holidays. Since they are located above downtown hotels, Hemingway’s Cuba is open both Thanksgiving and Christmas day, as is Capella on 9. The restaurants at the Biltmore Estate usually have a designated holiday menu since the estate is open 365 days a year.
Our cabins take out the hassle of the holiday
Just pick up the groceries and don’t stress the little things….silverware and corkscrews included! In many rentals, you get the bare bones of a kitchen. At Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds, our kitchens are fully-appointed with what you would need to fix a meal for the entire family. With all dishes, silverware, cookware, full-sized appliances, slow cookers, mixers, etc, you only have to worry about what to prepare. After the big dinner, relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace or in the soothing hot tub on your back deck. No matter what, savor the season at Asheville Cabins this year.
