Our History

We found this wonderful place looking online. When we saw it we knew this is where we wanted to come. Beautiful scenery, cozy cabin, & hot tub!

We have really enjoyed our stay. Cabin is one of the best we have stayed in. The goodies in the tin and fridge was a nice surprise for us. Everything is Welcoming!!

We will gladly tell our friends of our stay & visit here. We enjoyed waking up to snow dusting on the ground. It felt like Home. Thanks!

How Our Asheville Cabin Rentals Came to Be

As a family-owned and operated business here at Asheville Cabins at Willow Winds, we pride ourselves on offering a warm and inviting environment. Instantly feel right at home in your Asheville cabin rental with our friendly staff and welcoming smile. Since 1994, we have poured our heart and soul into making Asheville Cabins a rustic, yet elegant vacation getaway destination. We welcome you to get to know our family below and learn how Willow Winds came to be.

How Willow Winds Came to Be

Twenty years ago, in search of land in North Carolina, my family stumbled upon the land that we now call Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds. They fell in love with the area’s natural beauty and soon after the land was bought and so the journey began.
The original cabins had lacked proper upkeep, our family started the long process of restoring the cabins back to their original beauty. Upon the completion of the renovations, the decision to open a small cabin rental business began. Later with the purchase of adjoining properties, Willow Winds grew to the 25 cabins we now have today.
The name Willow Winds came from an old sign they found in the woods on the property. Willow Winds later became Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds. In keeping with the family tradition all cabins are named after relatives and close friends.
Willow Winds was built on the principle of premium accommodations and even better customer service. We have always been and always will be a family owned and operated business to ensure that our core values will always be met for each one of our guests.

Meet the family:

Office manager Pat Fowler

Pat, our office manager, began by taking reservations from her house. Later we built a separate office on the property so that our guests would always have access to information and assistance with their vacation.

As the business grew, we hired my cousin John Michael who would become our Grounds Manager.

The next time you are looking for a vacation, let my family welcome your family to Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds!

This is our 2nd visit to Andrew’s Attic and we find that we love it more each time we visit! It is a perfect get away – so romantic and peaceful! We’re counting the days until we can return!
