Asheville Municipal Golf Course (AMG)
The Asheville Municipal Golf Course, opened in 1927, is one of Western North Carolina's oldest and most scenic golf courses. Running along the Swannanoa River and boasting breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, AMG offers rental clubs and passes to families, individuals, juniors and seniors, and is open to the public seven days a week. The 18-hole course has been dubbed by locals and visitors as "a step back into the 1920s", and offers a concession area and a pro shop. Designed by Hall of Fame golf architect Donald Ross, the scenic and invigorating course is wide enough to allow for a driver on every hole.
Broadmoor Golf Links
Located just 13 miles south of Asheville in nearby Fletcher, NC, Broadmoor Golf Links is a golf course situated in the French Broad River Valley. Golfers can enjoy sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains while playing a full-championship course with one of the area's most unique and challenging layouts. The clubhouse area has a bar, a large dining area and veranda, and a full golf shop, and is one of the area's most popular destinations for golf tournaments and other special events and outings. The course's four-hour average round provides golfers with plenty of opportunity to play the game while taking in some amazing scenery.
Crowne Plaza Resort
The Crowne Plaza Tennis & Golf Resort is a favorite Western North Carolina tourist destination. Located just one mile from the bustle and charm of historic downtown Asheville, the Crowne Plaza's 9-hole course is known among golfers as "the place to meet". The 5,600 yard course is beautifully landscaped and designed to appeal to the discerning golfer who likes their game with some awe-inspiring views. There is a driving range near the golf course for players who want to improve their game. The driving range at Crown Plaza Resort opens in the middle of April.
Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa

High Vista Country Club (Mills River)
"It's a different world up here" is the creed of the High Vista, and the experience of golfing on this beautiful course is similarly heavenly. High Vista is a local hotspot for all kinds of golfing events, from afternoon outings to special dinners and fundraisers. Reems Creek Country Club
Known for their beautifully manicured greens, Reems Creek Golf Club, is set in a valley surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. The golf course has been described as having the look of the Scottish Highlands. For Scottish golf in the Asheville area, this epic par-72, 18-hole golf course is both highly challenging and sweepingly beautiful. It has a variety of terrains and altitudes to offer golfers.
