Some of our guests return after a day of activities, share a meal together and unwind.  Others  tour Asheville and the surrounding area and when they return, they  simply want to enjoy the hot tub, listen to the sounds of nature, and maybe take a short stroll around the property.   [caption id="attachment_374" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="A tour of Biltmore Estate is usually on the itinerary for most family vacations in Asheville, N.C."][/caption] A DEAL on the Biltmore Estate 2-Day Pass Families staying at Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds who wish to explore Biltmore Estate should consider purchasing their pass to the Estate through the resort office.    Our guests are able to take advantage of an excellent deal on the 2-Day Pass.  The price on this is $50 per person.  If you purchase your ticket at the gate, they price is more and is only good for 1 day.  By purchasing the 2-Day Pass at Willow Winds,  families who are traveling on a budget get to see more of Biltmore Estate by visiting for  two days. Children aged nine and under are admitted free with an adult pass holder.  Our office always has tickets, so you can either add your two day pass at the time of your reservation, or purchase them once you are visiting us at Willow Winds.   Biltmore Estate is comprised of nearly 8,000 acres of land.  A day of sightseeing is simply not enough for many families who visit.  In one day, most families can tour the house and gardens and possibly the winery or the working farm. On day two, families can explore additional gardens, walk some of the hiking trails, purchase souvenirs, dine at one of Biltmore Estate’s restaurants, and take part in interactive activities.   Some families even opt for additional activities at Biltmore Estate. These include biking, horseback riding, SUV tours, fly fishing, float trips on the French Broad River and more.  If families choose this option, expect an additional charge.  It is easier to afford these additional activities by saving money on the 2- day pass.   [caption id="attachment_379" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="Play ping pong on the side porch near the office."][/caption] On Site Activities at Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds When an exciting day of touring Biltmore Estate and the surrounding Asheville area is over, families return to Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds to rest and enjoy the woodland garden.
