We love to see the sights and hear the sounds of children playing!
When we began to build our cabin resort many years ago we first had to renovate four old cabins and tear down a few goat pens on the property. We named our first renovated cabin after our toddler son. It became Chris’ Cabin.
As we built more cabins we added first a lower playground complete with a water balloon launching station so that children and their parents could play water wars. There is also a swing set for children to climb and swing on.
Then we added an upper playground complete with a badminton net and basketball goal. Both playgrounds had equipment for the kids to climb on and conquer!
The last thing we did was add a covered game porch that includes arcade basketball, foosball, shuffleboard, air hockey and a ping pong table.
Of course we are proud that many children catch their first fish in our stocked trout pond. You do not need a fishing license, and you can catch and release or keep up to 5 per cabin/a day. They always remember where they caught their first fish!
