An Update about COVID-19/Restaurants near us

Rainy day view of town of Asheville

We were able to get fully back in business on June 1.
One of the best attractions of our 25 detached Asheville cabins have been our close proximity to a diversity of good eating choices.

We are less than a 15-minute drive to the entrance to the Biltmore Estate, where there are multiple dining options. For fine dining, it is hard to beat the Red Stag Grill or Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Both have valet parking. As you drive further down Hendersonville Road there are several good fast-food restaurants such as Arby’s.

A little further down the road is Juicy Lucy’s who has the best hamburger sold anywhere. They have sit down space for a limited number of diners. As you drive further Hendersonville Road come to the Five Guys restaurant which has delicious hamburgers and fries. Next door is Blaze Pizza, which has the great custom pizzas. They are currently available only for carryout but we expect that to change soon.

UPDATE 4/13/20: Buncombe County’s Stay at Home mandate remains in effect. We will keep you updated as we are notified of any changes from the county or state.

UPDATE 3/26/20: Due to a county mandate signed into effect yesterday, we must temporarily suspend operations from March 27th until April 9th. This date is subject to change with any additional county/state declarations. We’ll keep you updated! You may send us an email at info@ashevillecabins.com should you have any questions or need a modification to your reservation. Please be patient with us, as access to our emails and records will be limited. We miss you all, and will hopefully see you very soon. Stay safe!

Here at Asheville Cabins, we are closely monitoring the current status of the Coronavirus outbreak. Preventative measures are in place to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff. We are monitoring and evaluating news and spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), and we will follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as from Buncombe County Health and the City of Asheville. We are also focusing our efforts on not only additional sanitation measures in cabins and common areas, but also new options for those guests who prefer to be “low-contact” during their stay.

For any reservation changes needed: Contact us at info@ashevillecabins.com if you reserved directly through our website or over the phone. For bookings made through Booking.com, please contact them directly and refer to their terms and conditions.

UPDATED: Our gym, as well as the game porch and the playgrounds are closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience.

UPDATED 3/17: All restaurants in Asheville are closing for dine-in services as of 5pm Tuesday 3/17. Takeout and delivery options still available.

We have introduced a Quick Check-In option that many guests might enjoy! At the check-in time of 3 – 5pm, the guests will have an option (if requested in advance of arrival) to head straight to their cabin instead of stopping by the office on property. We will arrange for a key to be left in the lock box located next to the front door of the cabin, and will chat with the guests over phone or email to get them the code to lock box, run any balances due, and most importantly answer any questions that they may have! Of course, if our guests prefer to check-in face to face, we are right here in the office 9 – 5pm everyday.

IMPORTANT: The Biltmore House has suspended house tours as well as the Downton Abbey exhibit until March 31, 2020.

Romanticasheville.com has a great list of “Social Distancing Tips” for Asheville activities.

Your safety and health is our top priority, so please send us an email at info@ashevillecabins.com or give us a call at (800)235-2474 if you have any questions or concerns.
