The spring blossom that charms Willow Winds guests
We get asked a lot, so here’s the back story with the springtime Cherry Blossoms at our Asheville Cabins.

Before Mike and Sandy McLeod opened Willow Winds, they lived and worked most of their adult lives in the Washington, D.C. area. A highlight of Spring was when the cherry blossoms that would come out around the Washington Tidal Basin. There would be a festival and a princess would be crowned.
Therefore, it was natural that they would want to plant cherry trees when starting Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds. They named one of our interior roads Cherry Blossom Lane and planted cherry trees on each side. Our trees are not as big as those in Washington, because those trees were a gift from the Japanese Emperor over a hundred years ago. However, we think that these photos look pretty good.
