Downtown Asheville Festival of the Arts
Downtown Asheville will be hosting the 2nd annual Festival of the Arts this Memorial Day weekend! This completely free event kicks off Saturday, May 28, at Pack Square Park. Beautifully crafted jewelry, paintings, and various other artwork will be on display and for sale. A stroll in the park surrounded by locally crafted art is a perfect way to celebrate the holiday!
Asheville Art in the Park 2022
Throughout the Saturdays of June, Asheville Art in the Park will be occurring for it’s second decade. This fair provides locals and travelers an opportunity to get acquainted with the local artists of Asheville, all right in the center of downtown Asheville. Art in the Park stands out with mission to support the local arts and ensure the livelihood of all their artists.
Ooh La La Curiosity Market
Ooh La La Curiosity Market lives up to its name with its unique vendors and mission. This market is driven by “local artists supporting local animals,” by utilizing this event as a fundraiser for an Asheville no-kill animal shelter. Visitors will be able to support Asheville artists, along with supporting the animals within the community! Along with local artist vendors, live music will also be performed throughout the day in Pritchard Park on June 11th and June 18th!
75th Annual Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands
The Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands will be hosting a vast number of North Carolina artists and makers for their 75th year. Located in Harrah’s Cherokee Center, unique crafts varying from intricate woodwork to opulent jewelry will be on display. The Southern Highland Craft Guild will be hosting this event from July 21st to July 24th and admission is $10. It is a perfect way to introduce yourself into all the craftwork of Asheville!
