The Ingles Fourth of July Celebration in downtown Asheville
When it comes to events for the week of the Fourth in and around Asheville, the main attraction is always our downtown concert and fireworks. Every year, folks pack into Roger McGuire Green for live music, the Ultimate Air Dogs, food trucks, and a cap-off of stunning fireworks (seriously, they don’t skimp). Starts at 2 pm on July 4th, fireworks are at 9:30 PM, and the crowd starts dispersing quickly after the display. Not going to be able to make it to downtown until this weekend? This Saturday and Sunday, the 3rd Annual Downtown Asheville Fourth of July Festival of the Arts will take place.
Lake Julian Fireworks
Downtown crowds not your bag? We get it. For a slightly less congested firework display, try the beautiful Lake Julian display. Located in Arden NC, just south of Asheville. This display is only a 5 drive from our property, and we recommend parking at Estes Elementary School. Parking is free there, and there is a shuttle to take you to Lake Julian running from 8 am to 6 pm. Display starts at 9/9:30 PM.

Black Mountain Fireworks and Downtown Street Dance
Downtown Black Mountain will hold it’s annual Fourth of July celebration Thursday from 5:30 – 9:30 PM. Boogie on down to their main street for live musical talents of the Ryan Perry Band and dancing. Fireworks will start after sunset.
Lake Lure Fireworks
Lake Lure is a great spot not too far from here (only 25 miles) that has a beach and boat rentals. The beach area is great for families, and the fireworks display takes place tonight and tomorrow.
Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds offers one, two and three bedroom cabins in the Asheville city limits. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday!!!
