Spend some time at the NC Arboretum.
The North Carolina Arboretum is not only a great excuse to learn a little about plant life. There is also several exhibits that are fun for kids, and are sure to educate at the same time. The NC Arboretum is only 7 miles from our cabins.
Visit Splashville and the community pools.
Cool down! Asheville’s community pools are conveniently located, have great hours, and at $3 a visit, this’ll be an activity that doesn’t break the bank. The link in the title will show locations and hours, so you can find the pool and time that works best for you! Splashville is a series of 21 water streams and jets, in different combinations, that kids can splash around and play in. Splashville is located downtown, and is free to enjoy from 9 am – 8 pm from April thru September.
Try your hand at the Pinball Museum.
Be an Asheville Pinball Wizard at the Pinball Museum. This is one of the few of it’s kind, and the adults will enjoy as much as the young ones. It’s a blast from the past, an arcade of vintage pinball machines you can play unlimited for a daily rate. Located downtown. Keep in mind that they close every Tuesday for repairs. More of a board game fan, yourself? Stop by Well-Played while visiting downtown. This is a board game cafe with beer, wine, snacks, and over 600 board games.
Hang out on our property!
Why even pile into the car to head out if you can keep entertained right at your cabin? Our property has two playgrounds, a game porch next to the office, a fully-stocked trout pond, and a water balloon launching station.
