South Asheville Fireworks at Lake Julian
Just a little bit south; you can view the fireworks over Lake Julian. The show will take place on the 4th at dark. Lake Julian is located off of Long Shoals Rd, come early and bring a blanket or lawn chair. The park itself has a volleyball court, playground, grills and picnic tables. This is a free event.
Tourist Baseball Game Fireworks, July 4, 2016
There will be a game that night, with a fireworks show shortly after. Game will definitely sell out, so grab those tickets now!
Lake Junaluska
There will be a parade at 11 AM with a BBQ picnic and fireworks at 9:30 PM.
Bryson City Freedom Fest
This event will take place on the 4th from 10am – 10pm, twelve hours of fun in a quaint small town! There is a hula hoop-off, a watermelon-eating race, a 5k (register beforehand) and an appearance by Elvis.
