Legendary jazz group Spyro Gyra will perform at Biltmore's newest event venue, Diana at Biltmore, for a special Fall evening of music. Wrap up in your coziest blanket to enjoy Spyro Gyra's spicy brand of jazz mixed with R&B, funk and pop. The intimate and elegant outdoor Diana setting features some of the most dazzling views of Biltmore House. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert will start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $55 each. Spyro Gyra formed in the mid-1970s and has released 25 albums with 10 million copies sold. Although generally considered to be more "jazz" than "smooth," members of Spyro Gyra have been praised as skilled instrumentalists and for their live performances, which average nearly 100 per year. The group currently is on a world tour in support of "Down the Wire," their latest album released earlier this year. Deerpark will offer a special pre-concert buffet starting at 5:30 p.m., featuring seasonal selections such as Prime Rib of Beef, Chicken and Dumplings and Herb Crusted Mountain Trout. Concessions and picnic baskets will also be available at the Diana venue. Inn on Biltmore Estate will offer a special concert package that includes two nights, two tickets to the concert, Chef's Breakfast Buffet in The Dining room, Biltmore Sparkling Wine delivered to guest room, transportation to and from the concert, daytime admission to the Estate for length of stay, Audio Guide to Biltmore house and valet parking at the Inn.
