We found this wonderful place looking online. When we saw it we knew this is where we wanted to come. Beautiful scenery, cozy cabin, & hot tub!

We have really enjoyed our stay. Cabin is one of the best we have stayed in. The goodies in the tin and fridge was a nice surprise for us. Everything is Welcoming!!

We will gladly tell our friends of our stay & visit here. We enjoyed waking up to snow dusting on the ground. It felt like Home. Thanks!

Local venues perfect for tying the knot Asheville-style.

You already found the one, but now you have to find where to have the ceremony or reception (or both). Here are some local venues that are just lovely for celebrating your union.

Century Room on the Park – Located above Pack’s Tavern restaurant downtown, this turn-of-the-century ballroom will overlook downtown in a simple, yet elegant interior. With the original exposed brick inside, and a full restaurant downstairs, you can expect a full service experience.

Highland Brewery – It wouldn’t be Asheville if there wasn’t a beer tap somewhere nearby, so Highland Brewing has become an extremely popular wedding venue due to this city’s reputation as a beer-lover’s paradise. They have three levels of the event center, including a rooftop beer garden that is spectacular at sunset.

Celine and Company’s On Broadway – This space offers up a beautiful indoor space to perform your ceremony, with in-house catering that builds a menu out of your needs. Conveniently located in downtown Asheville, you won’t be far from our cabins OR all the fun things going on downtown.

Olivette Farm – 346 acres of working farmland gives a laid back but elegant feel to a wedding ceremony, and Olivette is a great option if this is what you are looking for! They have a twisted wood arbor and stone fire circle for a symbolic joining of two into one.

Crest Center and Pavilion – This huge space has indoor and outdoor options to make a wedding party of any size comfortable. This venue can accommodate over 320 people, with a 4500 square foot main hall, a 1700 sq ft mezzanine for overflow, and 765 sq ft media room (should you need it!). Overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway through large glass windows, this indoor venue will feel like you are out in nature.

Since we are centrally-located, our cabins are close to many of Asheville’s wedding venues. At Asheville Cabins of Willow Winds, you’ll have your guests situated in their very own cabin, with easy access to loved ones, but with a place to escape to after a busy day! We accommodate lots of wedding groups here, as well as family reunions, and have plenty of recommendations on how to make your special event even more unforgettable.

I’m sitting on my favorite rocking chair on the large covered porch ~ looking down the grass hill, past the herb garden to the lovely fish and fountain pond, surrounded by thick trees of every description including two of my favorite ~ Weeping Willows.

The grill is heating; waiting for the lamb chops I bought at the Farmers Market this morning.

I enter the living room with the high ceiling, stone fireplace, leather couches and rocking chairs; which many years ago was a one room cabin.

Sunlight filters through one of the long glass sliding doors which through the other I see my hammock waiting for me.

I’m home again; “Pat’s Place” is mine.
